Downy mildew confirmed in Michigan

Downy mildew has been confirmed on cucumbers in four Michigan counties. CucCAP vegetable pathologist, Mary Hausbeck recommended that cucumber growers take agressive action due to recent humid conditions and presence of cucurbit downy mildew spores.

Extension assists watermelon industry with disease

McGregor Lab part of research study aimed at whitefly management

The McGregor Lab at UGA will collaborate with researchers from three research institutions to use a grant from the USDA to fight whiteflies on vegetable crops. Cecilia McGregor and her lab group will be involved with research on Plant resistant traits and Molecular tools & biotechnology.
