Effective management of vegetable diseases starts by understanding pathogen transmission, how environmental conditions affect the disease, and what crops are more susceptible to a pathogen. The NC State Vegetable Pathology Lab, led by Dr. Lina Quesada has developed a series of fact sheets describing cucurbit diseases and providing information on how to manage the pathogens causing these diseases. The CucCAP team in collaboration with the Quesada lab developed Spanish translations of these factsheets.
