Cucurbit Genetics Cooperative (CGC), established in 1977, provides services for researchers interested in the genetics and breeding of species of the Cucurbitaceae crop family. CGC serves as an organizational vehicle for scientists to informally communicate the results of their research and development efforts. The cooperative emphasizes the free exchange of information and germplasm among members, both public and private. CucCAP scientist Amnon Levi is the Chairperson of the CGC coordinating committee and the website editor. Plant breeders from the first CucCAP grant, Linda Wessel Beaver and Todd Wehner, are members of the CGC Coordinating Committee. They collaborated with the Cucurbit research community to publish this report. The report is available as a PDF file.
