The CucCAP research team met in East Lansing, MI on June 1 & 2, 2016. The meeting agenda included an overview of project goals, reports from the seven research teams, commodity team meetings, and views from the cucurbit and seed industries followed by workshops on core collections and germplasm management, planning for representative farms economic analysis, Gene nomenclature, Extension plans and industry needs. Workshops on web plans and needs for the bioinformatics website and the Extension website for CucCAP wrapped up the 2 day meeting.
