- Cucurbit downy mildew has been confirmed in 11 counties
- All of the spores in traps have been clade-2 only. Clade 2 infects cucumbers, pickles and melons but not squash and pumpkin.
- In northern Ohio, clade-1 has been reported on pumpkins.
- Phytophthora is expected in areas that did not get heavy rains yet.
- Deer feeding on cucurbits and other crops has been severe this year.
