FROM Extension Plant Pathology: Cucurbit downy mildew (CDM) was confirmed on a cucumber leaf from a commercial field in Henderson County on July 20, 2018. This is the first report of CDM in western NC. Read more about the first report of CDM in western N.C. this year.
Cucurbit Downy Mildew was reported throughout the southeast and in the mid-Atlantic states in June 2018. The majority of DM reports were on cucumbers with 12 instances in all counties reporting.
